If you set up Scribus with an appropriate ICC Profile for printing, and
use a CMYK palette, then the output should be CMYK. Of course some
color shift will occur.
I like to process RGB illos through Gimp to increase color saturation,
then convert them to cmyk color model using ImageMagick. That way the
image on the screen will be closer to what you print. The real problems
come with blues, purples and browns IME.
