Lord yes. Version 1.3.3.14 is hopelessly obsolete. It is no longer being
maintained or bugfixed.  And it has some bugs still. If you read the
download page carefully it points you to 1.4.0 as the newest usable
version. True 1.4.0 has a few residual problems. But so does 1.3.3.14. 
You may have uncovered yet another one. 

Now why doesn't the download page say that more clearly? I don't have a
good answer.
