Well it would be if there's no built in spell checker.

Which by the sound of it is Linux ?

But some users do seem very keen to have this feature, despite the 
religious wars about what constitutes an ideal workflow.

At the moment I spell check by pasting Scribus text into word or OO. Not 
ideal.
