my biggest interest would be to get you to find out how to publish a 
full-baked solution to this! :-)

you're welcome to present your solution from a technical point of view, 
upload your patch to the bug tracker and ask for questions on the 
mailing list (if possible the -dev one) to sort out the parts that are 
missing!

it's a pity to know that somebody has a partial solution to this problem 
and nobody else can profit from it...

any chance to see the dreams of so many people come true?
