[scribus] Latex frame issues

Hi there,

I have a problem with the render frame in Scribus 1.4...

The preview in the document differs extremely from the final pdf export 
of the document: The fonts are displayed extremely huge in the preview, 
the final pdf output is from a very poor quality, while the 
scribus_temp_render_xxxx.pdf file is ok.

I am also receiving a warning "Object is an imported pdf file" when 
exporting to pdf.

OS is Ubuntu 10.04

Does anyone have an idea where to dig?
