[scribus] Too few scanlines

I had that, or something that sounds similar recently. I vaguely recall 
it being reported as a problem in a library or something.

I worked around it by reducing the .jpg resolution. Irritating indeed.

If you need the resolution, could you convert the file to a .png or .tif 
in Gimp, and incorporate one of these versions of the file in the 
document instead ?
