AFAIK Scribus uses QT for its UI,
and when the QT use is correct in scribus code,
but there is still a bug but in one OS only,
the dev team probably considers that it is not a scribus bug
but a QT bug.
So maybe you ought to report the bug on the QT bug tracker !
