[scribus] Where is the scripting API?

Hi,

I am on Scribus 1.4.1 on Ubuntu, I want to write a mail merge type
script for membership cards with unique membership number. The wiki (
http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Scripter_API) says the scripting API
can be viewed by selecting Help->Scripter Manual from the Scribus
menu. But when I look there it says "Sorry, no manual is installed!
