Hi All

Have, (at last!!!!!), been able to get hold of Scribus 1.4.1 for my
PCLinuxOS 2012-6 and installed it yesterday.

So far so good - it works with all my files and layouts etc AND the
"Column Shifting" Bug I reported a few days back has indeed gone!!
Generally I'm very happy.... there are a few minor cosmetic changes I
need to get used to but as a whole it looks good and seems to work well.

Two things that are "bugging" me ......

  * When you select 'Shape>FrameShape' to make the text go round a Frame
the text is right up against the edge of the Graphic. In previous
versions it left a 1 to 2mm gap which looks much better. I get round
this by adding an empty Text Frame over the Graphic with the
boarders I need and setting that in place of the Graphic itself.
SO - Is there a way to set a universal boarder round Frames when you
    make this selection?

  * I notice that from time-to-time while working on Graphics Frames,
(setting corners, positioning, line colours etc), the whole screen
centralizes with the slider bar right over on the right-hand side so
there is no way to get back to the right-hand side of the document.
The work round seems to be to change the magnification of the page
down, than re-set it to what you want and the slider bar re-sets
itself correctly and you can move to the right again.
Is this a known "funny" or can it be cured?

Thanks to all the Devs and others who once again have produced a
magnificent product!!
