I've found making .SVG which works well in multiple environments a 
fiddly business.

I still feel SVG will be really useful in a few years time. Things may 
have moved on in the last six months, but it was all I could do to get a 
decent version of our company logo as an SVG file that would work in 
browsers, inkscape and scribus.
