I rely on Scribus to do the conversion for cover art. No problems
so far. 

LSI is changing color presses. Createspace may be doing the same.
But unless you require distribution via Amazon I would suggest
360 Digital Books for color work. They have advanced presses. And
they give person-to-person support, something Createspace
doesn't.
