[scribus] long delay 'reading preferences'

Hello

I'm still seeing issues since i upgraded to Ubuntu 13.04 where my 
Scribus 1.4.2 install hangs on 'reading preferences' at start up for a 
good 3 minutes.

This is what i get when i run scribus from cmd line.

There area  few more

come up as its waits.

I've run this in Unity, Cinnamon, etc and its no different.

Any ideas ? After about 3-4 mins scribus starts up fine, but why the 
massive delay, its like its waiting for something to timeout ....

I tried changing qt theme too, but this makes no difference
