[scribus] How to embed Ubuntu font in a Scribus publication?

I don't see a subset / no subset option.

and no amount of fiddling in the fonts tab of the PDF export dialog will get the font to appear in the Embed pane.

Outlining them is just wrong --- why isn't there support for an opensource font?
