Thanks Antonio.

It looks as if there's a nice printer round the corner who can handle 
the 1.5 output. We'll give them a try 'open loop' without CMS and see if 
they they can manage something decent. IF that doesn't work out we'll 
have to start taking CMS seriously I think.
