Just some words to share as I watch this thread progress...
There is something to be said about UI design, ergonomics, efficiency and
intelligence. On the other side of the coin, there is also something to be
said about user's personal habits, tendencies, predilections, and quirks.
Where is the happy medium?
To me, ideally the design and solution would be in the software, where one
is offered the option to add or remove buttons from the UI. That would curb
the majority of conversations like these in the future where there is an
awkward negotiation to get ones needs met. Does that make sense to anyone
else?
Best Regards to everyone,
/Kunda
