No one else has answered. So I will give it a
shot. I use Linux.

Please go to this url:

http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Download

and select on of the two Windows choices, 32 bit
or 64 bit as appropriate. I suspect 32 bit would
be right for XP.  Scribus is not a windows/specific
program and so should not depend on the innards
of any particular version of Windows. 

Try it and if it doesn't work then get back to
the list.
