[scribus] Spellcheck in 1.4.4 not working??

Having sent this in twice now and received NO replies, either positive 
or negative, I must assume that this feature is not working at all which 
is a great pity!! But why put a half finished feature in at all??

I have tried it out on two different Computers, both running Linux, with 
the same result.

Anybody know when it will be working??
