[scribus] Scribus hangs on PDF export step.

Open SUSE 13.2  KDE 4.14.9
Scribus 1.4.5
Build C-C-T-F-C1.4.0
Ghostscript version 9.15  [26 Jan 2015]
Qt configuration = default

When starting Scribus from the command line I get  "libpng warning 
iccp Too many profiles"

I do not know if the libpng is the problem but the behavior started after 
an update to several libraries. Scribus behaves normally until I select 
the export to PDF function. Then I get an unreadable window and 
Scribus hangs. No PDF export results. How do I fis this? It makes 
Scribus unusable for its intended purpose.
