[scribus] compatibility concerns

Hi Scribus -I have a couple of compatibility questions:- Does Scribus support Photoshop ELEMENTS 11?- Will I be able to upload and/or "place" images from OLDER versions of Photoshop 6 into Scribus?- I have Mac OS X 10.6.8, is that ok or do I need to update my operating system?
