my concern is:

- scribus and inkscape should do it in the same way
- it should be a good way :-)
- if inkscape does not have this functionality or has a bad UX for it 
let's propose them a better one (if we find one)  <-- from the tweet 
above, inkscape seems to have an implementation, which seems to be a bit 
hard to discover but does not lead to uninted behaviors...
