[scribus] Mac Installation Help

Hi,

I have no experience with Homebrew, but here are some tips:

Your OS is pretty old, so you probably have the older gnu compiler instead of the more recent clang compiler. There's a debugger for each of them: 'gdb' or 'lldb' respectively. Let's say you have 'gdb'.

Open a terminal and type "gdb /path/to/scribus/Scribus.app/" (Enter)
type "run" (Enter)

You should get an error message when Scribus quits.

type "bt" (Enter)"

You get a backtrace that tells you where Scribus failed. Post that information and the error message  here and you'll get better advice.
