In the prefs140.xml file, here is the section to look for:
<context name="PropertiesPalette">
<attribute key="height" value="747"/>
<attribute key="left" value="1203"/>
<attribute key="top" value="79"/>
<attribute key="visible" value="1"/>
<attribute key="width" value="289"/>
</context>
"left" and "top" are the two variables to look at, to make sure you're
on the screen.
Greg
and prefs150.xml has this:
<context name="PropertiesPalette">
<attribute key="area" value="0"/>
<attribute key="floating" value="1"/>
<attribute key="height" value="799"/>
<attribute key="left" value="995"/>
<attribute key="top" value="38"/>
<attribute key="visible" value="1"/>
<attribute key="width" value="310"/>
</context>
