[scribus] Using ppas on ubuntu.

I installed the Scrikbus ppa on a version of Ubuntu (xubuntu).  Now how do 
I convert  these files  to the actual sceribus and scribus-n files.\? Thjis 
whole ppa business is a mystery to me?
