 OK I am suspending work on my Scribus book for now and will reactivate 
projects in other areas.
  
 If the windows version works one way and the Linux svg version in another 
way we have a problem that needs
 to be resolved soon.
  
 IMO all important functions should be accessible three ways: item on menu, 
icon on icon bar and multi key
 keyboard combo. For my work the most used development functions are the 
graphics window, the style edit routine and the
 text window -story editor combo.
