[scribus] Scribus 1.5.3 crashes when trying to create new style

Hello

I'm fairly newly to Scribus - and really love it! So thanks for creating
such an amazing product.

In 1.5.3, when I try to create a new style (eg paragraph or character
style) it crashes. This is a fairly significant problem!

Does anyone know any work arounds for this?
Is it a known bug?
