[scribus] Font subset question

Hi Friends.

One question: How does it work the "Save As PDF -- Fonts -- Fonts to 
Subset" function?

It's make outline the use (embedded) fonts (glyphs)? Is the same as 
"Outline all Fonts" function?

PDF/X-1a and etc. does not allow chose the "Outline all Fonts", but I 
would need this.

The printing house rip software can not use it the embedded fonts. 
Strange characters appear on the printed document. The print house asks 
me for a "outline font" document.
