[scribus] Exporting with transparency - alpha channel

Hi Martin,
in version 1.5.5 you can export PNG files directly via Ctrl+Shift+E or
File -> Export -> PNG. IN the dialogue-box there's a check-box saying
"No background". For me this produces an PNG file with alpha channel
just as I would expect it.
If you are looking for removing the virtual paper that you draw on in
Scribus, then I don't know. You could maybe create a background as an
image, lock that plane/layer and draw on top of it.
Regards, Simon
