[scribus] Double page spread

The real feature who would be VERY nice would be
*an imposition feature at PDF export* - with the different options for imposition
at least for double-pages booklets
including crop marks only around the A3 groups of A4 pages for an A4 booklet, for example.

I need this for different brochures and I manage to do it with other tools
but it is somehow painful...

As for the need of juste presenting a brochure side by side,
I still think the easiest way is, as I explained it in another message

  * create a blank A3 (landscape) document (B)
  * insert A4 frames in the A3 pages of B (easy to do it for a pair of A4 frames and copy
    the A3 page)
  * export the main document (A) as separate pages
  * insert the PDF pages in the A4 frames of B
  * export B in PDF, and we have a presentation of A on double-pages side by side

This can be done in the order of viewing or in the order of printing (imposition) if needed.

Moreover, the second document can be reused easily after modification of the first document.
If the name has not been changed, it will even be automatically updated if you rexport the
A4 pages
An it can be reused for another similar project...

Sincerely
Silvain

If you were going to print this, it would require some sort in imposition, but if you just want to be able to display pages side-by-side, this will work by itself.
