Hi From my Mantis bug report it is clear that drop shadows seem to slow Scribus down - a lot ! It is also clear that annotating photographs with arrows and number boxes etc., further slows down the display - at least on my setup Until this is fixed I have a 5 - 15sec wait between mouse clicks - not good for productivity kind regards Colin
