[Scribus] Applying styles

How does one apply a different paragragh style to a whole document without 
having to change it one paragraph at a time? I tried the story editor without 
success. The "Select All" command in the EDIT menu selects the whole document 
but only applies style to one paragraph at a time. Am I missing something?

I know I can apply a style to the whole document by creating and applying a 
style first, then importing the text into that style. If I already have my 
text imported, how does one apply a different style to the whole document at 
one time?
