How may it effect things that CinePaint is moving to FLTK?

CinePaint was a stealth project for years. It's now available in many of the
major distros and BSDs. Can you state a specific concern about CinePaint's
visibility? What should I do about it?
When people say they prefer GIMP -- or any other paint tool -- I naturally
become curious why. Not seeking arguments, just wondering.
Most of the feedback I get from GIMP users is that they don't like CinePaint
because of GTK1. I don't like GTK1 either and we're changing that -- though
not to GTK2 like GIMP. The other feedback from GIMP is we should be just
like them. That, of course, would be pointless.

Thanks, appreciate that!
