OO.o Draw import is to be improved. You can check the bug tracker for
the existing issues.

Don't expect this anytime soon. And I don't think it makes much sense,
at least with respect to complete word processor files. You do the
formatting (except paragraph and in the future paragraph styles) in your
page layout software. That's what it's for.

It is strongly recommended to do that, especially for longer texts.

Well, it works fine. Just do as described by Craig, Riku and me. It's no
sorcery, only a few mouse clicks.
