[Scribus] ughh... OpenOffice text document ??

And even if you don't want to import styles from OO.o you can still do the 
writing there and in Get Text dialog check the box that says "Import Text 
Only" and you'll then get the text only :) and all the formatting can be done 
in Scribus. This is the way i do it.
