That error is a build problem with some code I added the other day. The
issue only seems to affect a few people, and I've been unable to
reproduce it. It'd be really helpful if you could file a bug, and
attach:

config.log
scribus/Makefile.in
scribus/Makefile
scribus/ui/Makefile.in
scribus/ui/Makefile.am

and the output of:

ls -al scribus/ui
