[Scribus] [OT] Free Clipart and OS X

Good morning! :-)))

Sorry for the off topic - just don't know where else to ask this  
question.

That amazing free clipart ... now I've got Inkscape and X11 - except  
that it seems that X11 and Inkscape *launch every single time* I want  
to view an image. There doesn't seem to be a way of closing one pic  
and viewing the next without a lengthy delay.

Is there a browser of some sort? Wending my way through 5000 plus  
plus images alternately launching and closing two apps, is just too  
time consuming to do.

Running OS X 10.2.4 Tiger on iMac G4 800mHz, 1 gig RAM.
