Tiago,
Don't worry about versions. Scribus team calls the current 1.3.x cvs 1.3.1cvs
because they will release it as 1.3.1 at some point. I set my package version
to 1.3.0+cvsXXXXXXXX-Y because the version has to be less then 1.3.1 for apt
to upgrade the package it when 1.3.1 comes out. You can play with "dpkg
--compare-versions ver1 op ver2" if you'd like to see why it has to be that
way. Use "man dpkg" for more info. Practically, just look at the date part of
the package version e.g. cvs20050905 for the guidance on when the package was
built from cvs and run your "apt-get upgrade" regularly and I'll make sure
your scribus and scribus-cvs packages stay fairly current.
