I did it and it is more complete, you're right.

However, the gimp thing still doesn't work here. Maybe it's due to my 
distro, a Suse 9.1

But I've just detected one more thing I wonder about: why isn't it 
possible to define a double-page template page? I'm thinking of a double 
page having lines from left to right for the head or food, page 
numbering etc.
