[Scribus] again, screen fonts in gnome

Hi,
i prefer using a gnome based desktop, ubuntu (breezy) in my case.
In Scribus (1.3.3cvs) the menu and dialog fonts are very big. I followed
this thread 'Re: Screen fonts in Gnome' posted by Craig in 2004. He
mentioned using the qtconfig tool to adjust font size. So i've done this,
but this changed nothing in scribus. Another qt application takes the
changes (f.e. skype). Any hint?
