Why not? AFAIK Scribus converts colors into DeviceCMYK if you dont, using
the printer profile you selected. Is this what the printer expects?
Try:
* use profiles
* embed profiles for images
* do not ignore image profiles
That way Scribus will includes all color information it uses in the PDF and
a compliant PDF interpreter should convert the colors correctly.
