[Scribus] the meaning of the "Use ICC Profile" option

Hi,

Can some developer explain the meaning of the "Use ICC Profile" option, found 
on the Save as PDF panel, Color tab?

Facts:

- tooltip says "Embed a colour profile for images"
- if unchecked the resulting colours seem to be wrong

It seems that the profiles defined here for pictures:

http://people.angulosolido.pt/~gustavo/scribus/cmyk-workflow/sweet-scribus-cm/doc-options.png

are ignored if the option is unchecked.

Can some developer clarify whether this is the intended behaviour and the 
tooltip is correct?
