[scribus] Confused on how to insert/delete pages

Scribus is very strong for book covers, newsletters, flyers and so on. 
For long books I find that TeX is more flexible when changes in 
pagination etc. are to be expected.  The TeX facilities for indexes, 
multiple TOCs, footnotes, cross references, bibliography and the like 
are not duplicated in Scribus and may never be in their entirety.  And 
Scribus processes big documents very slowly.  

There are horses for courses, as the racetrack touts would say.  
Thankfully in Open Source software we are never limited to a single 
tool.
