[scribus] Washed out colors, no transparencies

You need to save as PDF 1.4 or higher to have transparency.
As far as colors, you may need to use color management. OTOH, if you 
export to PDF with the option to Printer, colors may look washed out but 
may be right for your printer, since the gamut has to be reduced 
compared with RGB.
