[scribus] Image colorize no longer works?

An eps file is a vector file. The Gimp effects work on bitmapped 
files. 

I have two suggestions.  Import and manipulate the file in Inkscape, 
thus maintaining the vector format, or import it into Gimp without 
going through Scribus, which will convert it to a bitmap.
