I follow

  - Compiling and Installing Scribus 1.3.5+ On Mac OS X

in order to compile Scribus for MacOS-X 1.4.11 with a PPC ( non-Intel)  
processor.

I downloaded Qt4.6.3

from  
http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/qt-for-open-source-cpp-development-on-mac-os-x

Carbon: Mac binary package for Mac OS X 10.4 - 10.6 (32-bit Intel/PPC)
http://get.qt.nokia.com/qt/source/qt-mac-opensource-4.6.3.dmg (171 MB,  
includes build and interface tools)

http://get.qt.nokia.com/qt/source/qt-mac-opensource-4.6.3-debug-libs.dmg (341  
MB, libs only)

The CMake command gives the following warnings :
