hi gunter,

i have scribus 1.3.8 installed on a intel os x 10.4 through fink.

you may try this way, too.

i'm not sure whether scribus 1.5 will run on 10.4, but we will have to
wait for a first "official" relase of the 1.5 code.

the other way  would be to install a modern linux on your mac...
