[scribus] Problem upgrading from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9

I have been successfully using Scribus 1.3.8. After reading several 
suggestions on the mailing list I attempted to upgrade to 1.3.9
my system;
OS= Linux  Open Suse 11.3 x86-64
Source of RPM =KDE:Distro:Factory/Open_Suse_11.3
Downloaded scribus-1.3.9-2.1.x86_64.rpm

Yast installs apparantly sucessfully -However- when I attempt to start scribus 
from the command line I get
scribus: symbol lookup error: scribus: undefined symbol: 
_ZN9QListData11detach_growEPii

Scribus does not start. How do I fix this?
