I'd say that is a very rare situation (and that printer is not very
professional:-).

One reason for that is that the imposition for such a folder would
have to be adjusted for creep. Creep depends on paper thickness.

I would never want to do the imposition without being able to proof
the print and adjust the imposition if needed. That's why I only
impose things I want to print myself.
