[scribus] GIMP not there

I am new to Scribus not really computer smart
I am trying to add a photo to a page.  I can import the photo to the Image  
Frame but it is to large
HOW DO I RESIZE?

If I right click on the image I get a message that GIMP is not installed
I have loaded and opend GIMP 2.6

HOW DO I MAKE Scribus see GIMP ??
