[scribus] GB- Spellchecker in 1.4.0.rc6

Has anyone else noticed that the Spellchecker (GB-English) is not 
working correctly in Scribus 1.4.0.rc6 (although it worked OK with rc3)?

I haven't seen it mentioned in the lists or in the bugs list so if 
anyone else can repeat the following with the same results then I'll 
file a bug report.


1. The Spellchecker does not work at all when sample English is inserted 
into a text frame.

eg    a) Insert -> Insert Text frame
         b) Insert -> Insert Sample Text select English
         c) Selct text frame
         d) Item -> Spellchecker
         e) Dialogue with "Not in dictionary" and both "Replacement" and 
alternatives box are empty
         f) Click "Ignore"
         g) Repeat of e - f until period is reached ie "3 May." when 
dialogue with "Spellchecking complete."


2. Doesn't report any errors at all with any entered text or imported 
text file.

eg.
       a) Insert -> Insert Text Frame
       b) Enter the following text "Let it rain it's goo for the grass."
       c Select text frame
       d) Item -> Spellchecker
       e) Dialogue with "Not in dictionary" and both "Replacement" and 
alternatives box empty
       f) Click "Ignore"
       g) Repeat of e - f until Spellchecker hits the period or a comma 
when a dialogue with "Spellchecking complete"

   A similar process occurs with any text although strangely not with 
Lorem ipsum. Here the "Not in dictionary" box has an entry, the 
"Replacement" box offers a best guess and the alteratives box offers 
other alteratives.

   Although again as with 1. and 2. above the spellchecker always ends 
it's spellchecking on a comma or a period.

I have a sneaking feeling that all is not well with my Scribus 
spellchecking setup but it's only a feeling. Libreoffice and other word 
processing apps function perfectly as they all use Hunspell.

As i said if anyone can repeat the above I'll file a bug report
