[scribus] maximum number of images (?) problem

without more details on the size of the image, the OS you're using the
RAM available and so on, it's hard to give you hints.

basically,
- there is no reason, why breaking up the document in several files
  should not work (it's not the perfect solution, but it's a workaround
  that works for most people).
- if you're on windows you could try the experimental 64 bit build that
  will give you access to the full RAM on your computer
- if you don't have enough RAM, buy some more.
